The tool below is an effective way to claim and assert your rights. The team helps you receive your compensation quickly.

Cancellation and compensation

When to ask for compensation for the cancellation?
Where the cancellation is the result of an "extraordinary circumstance", the air carrier is not obliged to pay compensation to travelers.
We are talking about extraordinary circumstances during an adverse weather condition, security risks, a situation of political instability, airport strikes, controllers, ... The company must notify in case of cancellation at least fifteen days before. Otherwise, travelers are entitled to assistance depending on the waiting time at the airport, as well as compensation.

Denied boarding

Overbooking is often practiced by the company which wants to avoid empty places in case of last minute cancellations. For this, it can face overbooking and therefore refuse boarding to some travelers.
Travelers have the right to choose between a re-routing or reimbursement of the ticket. The company must also provide assistance (refreshments, meals, communications, accommodation with transportation if necessary).
Travelers with an eligible ticket will receive compensation between € 250 and € 600, depending on the distance of the flight.

Delay at Air Cairo

In the event of a delay at an airport in the European Union, travelers can first inquire about the causes of the delay and ask for compensation for any disruption that the company could avoid.
Travelers are entitled to assistance for any delays of more than 2h, 3h, ... and may request a refund if it exceeds 5h.
The compensation is € 250 for flights up to 1500km, € 400 for flights up to 3500km and € 600 for flights over 3500km.

Missed Connecting Flight

For any missed connecting flight, you are entitled to a compensation of up to 600 €. In order to be eligible for compensation under the law of the European Union, the tickets must be under the same booking reference and the company must be at fault.
The company is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by exceptional circumstances that are unforeseeable events such as weather conditions or air traffic restrictions.
