Air Mauritius

Air Mauritius is the national airline of Mauritius. It serves destinations around the world, but for all departures from EU airports, it must comply with Regulation 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004 establishing common rules on compensation and passenger assistance in case of denied boarding and cancellation or long delay of a flight.

The tool below is an effective way to get compensation quickly, A team of experts will support your claim.

Flight Cancellation and Claim Conditions

In case of last minute cancellation, passengers are entitled to assistance. It is important to inquire about the reasons for the delay to know if you are eligible for compensation or not.
You have the choice between a rerouting to the final destination or a refund for any cancellation, and this under the European regulation.
If the cancellation is not caused by extraordinary circumstances, you can claim compensation up to € 600 and this is also possible for cancellations that have not been the subject of an information message at least a fortnight before.

Overbooking ... Denied boarding

Overbooking results in denied boarding. The companies do this for reasons of possible cancellations, so they accept a number of bookings that exceeds the proposed seats.
In this situation, you are entitled to assistance and the choice between a re-routing or a refund, as for cancellation.
The denied boarding is a last minute cancellation, which leads travelers to get compensation of up to € 600.

Delays at Air Mauritius

In case of delay of more than 2 hours, travelers are entitled to assistance (refresh, communication or even accommodation if necessary) depending on the waiting time of passengers at the airport.
For any compensation up to € 600, you have the right to claim compensation for delays that exceed three hours, generated by the company and not by exceptional circumstances (weather, security strike ...).
The compensation depends on the distance of the flight: € 250 for flights up to 1500km, € 400 for flights up to 3500km and € 600 for flights exceeding 3500km

Missed Connecting Flight

Missed connecting flight is the result of a significant delay at the airport or cancellation caused by either the traveler or the company.
Passengers are entitled to compensation of up to € 600 in this case for any delay of three hours or more (calculated on arrival).
It is also important to learn about the flight with stopover. If the same company takes care of all the flights, the travelers will be entitled to a re-routing towards the destination. In the case of several companies, travelers may pay a fee to exchange the flight.
The company is not responsible for delays caused by an exceptional condition.
