Binter Canarias

Binter Canarias is a Spanish airline dedicated to the Canary Islands. The company is obliged to respect the European regulations for any cancellation, delay or refusal of boarding.

The tool below is an effective solution that allows travelers to claim compensation and to call on a specialist team in the field.

Cancellation: refund or re-routing?

European regulations protect travelers, and in the case of cancellation, the company must offer assistance to its passengers.
The traveler is also entitled to a compensation between € 250 and € 600 for any last minute cancellation caused by conditions that the company could avoid (strike of the aircrew, technical problem, ...) as well as the choice between the refund and rerouting.
The company is exempted from paying compensation if the cancellation is due to exceptional conditions.

Denied Boarding

Overbooking causes the company to refuse boarding to certain travelers voluntarily or not. The company in this case asks some travelers to give up their reservations in exchange for certain benefits.
Passengers are entitled to assistance, the choice between reimbursement and re-routing and compensation of up to € 600. Travelers are protected by European regulations.

The delay and its conditions

The delay must be caused by the company and not by extraordinary circumstances. Travelers are entitled to assistance for waiting at the airport.
The traveler will be able to claim a compensation of up to € 600 for the delay of three hours and more.
The compensation therefore depends on the distance of the flight: € 250 for the flight of up to 1500km, € 400 for the delay of up to 3500km and € 600 for the flight exceeding 3500km.

Missed Connecting Flight

The missed connection is a disruption since this is often caused by significant delays. The reasons for the delay are very important since this determines the eligibility of the claims.
For any delay of three hours or more that is not due to extraordinary circumstances, passengers are eligible for compensation of up to € 600 for flights over 3500km (this depends on the distance from the flight).
