Cancellation: What to do?

Travelers who are being canceled must first find out about the causes of this cancellation, it's important! That said, if there was no warning message at least a fortnight before, travelers can claim compensation and thus receive compensation of up to € 600.
The last minute cancellation caused by extraordinary circumstances such as weather conditions is not the fault of the company, which will be exempt from any compensation.
The company has been obliged since 2004 to offer passengers the choice of reimbursement and re-routing to its passengers. It must offer assistance also according to the waiting time at the airport.

Denied boarding

Travelers can receive a request from the airline to give up their reservations, this allows them to benefit from several services and can even ask their airline.
When the Refusal of boarding is the result of an overbooking, the company must accept the claim of the passengers and the compensation with a compensation between €250 and €600.
Voluntary or not, the victims of denied boarding will be entitled to refund or re-routing, as for last-minute cancellation.
The company must offer assistance to its passengers while waiting at the airport.

The delay for any departure from the EU

Any delay of three hours entitles travelers to compensation between € 250 and € 600.
Unless the company is able to prove that the flight has been delayed because of conditions not controlled by it (weather, political instability, controllers 'or porters' strike, ...), it is obliged to compensate his passengers.
The care is to offer travelers waiting at the airport refreshments, meals and accommodation and transport if necessary.
The compensation varies according to the distance of the flight: €250 for the flight of up to 1500km, €400 for the flight of up to 3500km and €600 for the flight of more than 3500km.
