Victim of a cancellation or a delay at Royal Air Maroc? European regulations protect passengers from all the disturbances that may occur.

Cancellation at Royal Air Maroc

The company must warn travelers of cancellations at least 15 days before. In the event of a cancellation caused by an extraordinary circumstance (weather, exceptional event, ...), the company does not take any compensation file.

The traveler may claim compensation in the case of a last minute cancellation caused by a flight crew strike or a technical problem for example. The compensation varies between € 250 and € 600.

The airline is obligated to offer passengers the choice between destination redirection or refund.

In case of refusal of voluntary or involuntary embarkation, travelers are entitled to assistance by the company.

Conditions of compensation in case of delay

You should know that the company is not responsible for the delays caused by so-called extraordinary circumstances.

When it comes to a published delay or schedule change for its travelers at least two weeks before, the company is exempted from paying compensation.

In addition, travelers are entitled to assistance (depending on the waiting time at the airport) and can claim compensation up to € 600 if it exceeds three hours (on arrival).

Missed Connecting Flight

The delay! ... the main cause of a "missed connecting flight", quite stressful as a situation!

Be aware that any delay of three hours or more caused by the company gives the right to passengers to claim compensation of up to 600 €. The company is not liable if the delay is caused by an exceptional condition.

That said, we must first find out who manages the flights. In the case of a single company, the latter will take charge of its passengers on another flight. If it is several, you may be required to pay a fee to exchange your flight with the company that is not responsible for the delay!
