White Airways is a charter airline based at Lisbon-H airport. Delgado, Portugal.

The cancellation

Denied boarding

The company first looks for passengers who agree to give up their booking in exchange for various services, in case of overbooking to avoid the stress situation. It must provide adequate support while waiting for a subsequent flight.
Volunteers or not, the passengers victims of this prejudice should have the possibility to cancel their flight and to be refunded their ticket. Also, they have the choice to continue the flight in satisfactory conditions.
For this inconvenience, the company must compensate its passengers with compensation ranging from € 250 to € 600, depending on the distance of the flight.

The delay

Passengers whose flight is delayed should be picked up with adequate assistance and given the opportunity to cancel their flight and to be reimbursed for the price of their ticket or to continue under satisfactory conditions.

Passengers can claim, for this damage, compensation of € 250 for the flights of up to 1500km, € 400  for the flights of up to 3500km and € 600 for beyond ... and this for any delay exceeding the three hours.
It should be noted that the liability of the company is exempt in cases where an event is due to extraordinary circumstances, which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken.

Missed Connecting Flight
